The nearest station is JR Takefu. It is 8 kilometers from the guesthouse. The new station, Echizen Takefu on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, is 5.5 kilometers.
If you use a car, the guesthouse is 5 kilometers from Takefu IC. It is a British style house in a quiet residential area surrounded by trees, you can feel like being in a villa.
Its area is 1,200 m^2 and 7 parking lots available. Fully air-conditioned and warm.
The bus stop, Kakyoukouenguchi, is in front of the guesthouse, the line linked to Washinosato via Takefu, but the number is small.
We provide a pick-up service from stations. (charged)
You can rent a bicycle near the Washinosato area.
I live with my wife and son together. Two daughters are already married. My hobbies are overseas trip and art appreciation. I have been to USA, England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hongkong, and Korea, so many countries up to now. I would like to make friendships with foreigners.
We would like to increase exchanges with the guests. We also provide meals upon request. You can enjoy TV at the living room and barbecue in the garden. We can reserve a ticket and arrange a home delivery.
This area is the base of five big traditional crafts such as Echizen-washi(paper), Echizen knife, Echizen-tansu (chest), Echizen lacquerware, Echizen pottery. We prepare many experience menus.
If you want, you can try calligraphy and yoga at Shokushouji-temple and read the sutra.
Otaki Shrine, an important cultural asset, is certainly worth seeing.
